Summary

Fortress of the Muslim does not collect, store, or sell any personal information, and there's no account or sign-in of any kind. This page exists mainly so that's on the record, and to explain the few third-party services the site relies on to function.

What this site is

Fortress of the Muslim is a free, independent, non-commercial project presenting the text, translation, transliteration, and audio recitation of duas (supplications) and adhkar (remembrances) from the Hisn al-Muslim collection. It's a static website — there is no user database, no login, and no server-side processing of anything you do here.

Data collection

The site itself does not collect personal data. Specifically:

• No account or sign-in is required or offered.
• No advertising is shown, and no advertising or marketing networks are integrated.
• Your bookmarks, language choice, and text-size preference are saved only in your own browser (via localStorage) and are never transmitted anywhere.
• The contact form does not send anything to a server. Submitting it simply opens your own email app with a pre-filled message, which you choose to send (or not) yourself.

Third-party services

A few third parties are involved in running the site, each described here for transparency:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-first analytics tool that reports aggregate page-view counts. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't fingerprint devices, and doesn't track you across other websites.
• Google Fonts — the Arabic and Latin typefaces are loaded from Google's font servers, which as part of serving the font files receives the requesting device's IP address, per Google's own privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — the site is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare's network, which handles standard connection-level logs (like any host) as part of serving the page.
• If you email us — whether through the contact form or directly — that message goes to our inbox like any email, and is handled the same way any personal email would be: not sold, not shared, not added to a mailing list.

Children's privacy

Because the site collects no personal information from any visitor, this includes children. The site is suitable for a general audience.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future feature involves data collection — this page will be updated, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
